Sad moment for our fundamental rights. was officially adopted by the European Parliament last night. It opens the floodgates for possible censorship all over Europe. Governments can abuse it in order to silence criticism.

This is kind of accelerationist, but I would laugh so hard if some right-wing euroskeptic party came to power and just abused the absolute crap out of that law. I mean at this point the EU parlement kind of deserves a little lesson in what happens when government meddles w/ speech.

@marcel_kolaja Oh, that’s bad. Bad, bad, bad. And he’s right. It’s gonna be much like gun laws. Regular people will be deemed offensive and punished but the terrorists are underground – terrorists won’t be affected at all.
